Meet Courtney Downey, the owner of Made In Metro. She is a Professional in Photography and Digital Marketing. Courtney graduated from Michigan State University in 2018 with a degree in Journalism and concentration in Media Marketing and has worked in the field for over 8 years. She has led hundreds of successful digital marketing campaigns for a variety of businesses. Made In Metro (the blog) was born in 2018 to explore the tastes of Metro Detroit and surrounding areas (and share her favorite recipes). Made In Metro (the business) was founded in February 2020.
When Courtney is not online working, she is exploring new restaurants and places around Metro Detroit, traveling and enjoying time with family and friends..

I specialize in social media design, photography, branding, digital marketing, and more, combining strategy with creativity to craft content that not only looks beautiful but delivers real impact.

Beyond my creative work, I’m inspired by the world around me. I love traveling, spending time outdoors in nature, and sharing moments with family and friends. You’ll often find me rock climbing, swimming, playing pickleball, or exploring new creative crafts. These experiences fuel my creativity and keep my perspective fresh; something I carry into every design I create.

Bre’ella is a content creator with a background in digital marketing, design, and creative strategy. She specializes in developing engaging content and visuals that help brands connect with their audiences in an authentic way. With a natural eye for detail and a creative approach to problem-solving, she enjoys turning ideas into clear, impactful results.
Outside of her professional work, Bre’ella is a painter who finds inspiration in art and design, and she has a lifelong love for animals especially horses. Her experience as a rider and jumper has taught her patience, dedication, and focus, qualities she carries into every project. Bre’ella brings creativity, consistency, and reliability to each client she works with.
